Ask for Kids has created a fast, easy, and safe way for kids to find information and answers online. It is primarily to assist kids with thier homework, however it does have some fun games and activities. All of the web sites that children are sent to for information from this site are screened by an editor of Askforkids. This is also a wonderful site because the links it sends the children to are also g-rated. This site has content filters in place and the sites it links to are graded according to levels 1-3. A level 3 site does have the potential for having material on it that some parents might find inappropriate for some younger children. I like this site and strongly recommend it to parents and other adults caring for children.

This is my favorite search engine. It is the most customizable for me and my family. The settings on this search site can be changed to suit the user and provide more protection than other search engines to the child who is searching through available web information. I use this site almost exclusively. I can find almost any kind of book, site, information,statistic, picture or other information tools easily and quickly. If the user placed the incorrect spelling in the search box; this site will give alternative spelling to the words or letters it sees to assist the user in finding the information they seek.
